Many uses of a woodstove
I generally don’t much care for the whole winter thing. What I do like is having a wood stove. Wood stoves and wood heat have been used since the beginning of time. Using wood heat saves money by not having to pay for electricity or gas to heat your home. You still have heat if there is a power outage and there is no heat like wood heat!
I love using the wood stove for cooking in a dutch oven.
Why not cook food on the wood stove instead of using the electric or gas stove and save money? Dutch ovens can be used to cook a variety of different and are made out of cast iron and they will last forever!
I also use my wood stove for drying laundry. I have some wood drying racks that fold up while not in use and hardly ever use the dryer in the winter at all.
I don’t know whats better than having something that serves more than one purpose at a time and saving money to boot!
Wood stoves can serve many purposes and it is also relaxing to sit in front of the stove and watch the fire while drinking morning coffee.
